Description
The 6386 tube is a special miniature dual-triode primarily used as a control tube in high-end tube compressors (Variable-Mu) in audio engineering. Its unique "remote cutoff" characteristic curve enables controlled, smooth compression.

Comparing the WE396A directly with the 6386 LPG the 6386 opens up like removing a curtain and is offering airy clear details while the WE396A appears a bit smoother and relaxed.
